No the relaxer will straighten the hair, the hair will not go back to its normal form. It will take up to 4 to 5 weeks before the hair goes back to its normal form. So no need to worry. Once you put the relaxer in, all should be fine.

when you get a relaxer it WILL str8en out the hair, when you get new growth it will be your natural hair....so in other words you have to grow your natural hair out to your desired length n then cut off the ends of the relaxer part.
