Hair Tangled Emergency! Help!?

Everytime I step out of the shower my hair is so tangled! I've tried many different shampoos, and conditioners and it leads to the same thing. I've tried detangeling sprays also, which don't work at all. I'm tired of trying to comb my hair and ripping all my hair out! Any tips on good shampoos I should try?

Hair Tangled Emergency! Help!?

First of all, brush your hair before you get in the shower. Secondly, wash your hair before anything else and then put your conditioner on and let it sit while you do everything else. This will help condition your hair and also help it not tangle while you finish your shower. The last thing you do is while still in the shower, use a wide tooth comb and start at the bottom of your hair and detangle with the conditioner still in it. Rinse the conditioner out while combing it gently. After getting out of the shower, do not take a towel and ruffle your hair to dry it. You should do this in the shower with the water turned off and use your open hands to 'smooth' the water out of your hair top to bottom. You can squeeze the ends like a sponge to get the excess out. Once you're out of the shower, spray with a detangler spray and neatly put your hair up in a twist with a clip and wrap it with a towel. You should only be using a wide tooth comb with your hair and always starting at the bottom and detangling your way up. Good luck!

well it depends on the type of hair you have...naturally wavey, thick, or very curly or coarse...my lil cousin is a mix of different races and her hair is too curly and frizzy to even run ur fingers in when its dry...i would suggest go to a salon and get it soften it that way......

make sure you brush your hair before you take a shower. when you have shampoo in your hair try to comb it with a wide tooth comb and when you dry your just squeez the excess water out with a towel and add oil it could be baby oil or oil for frizzy hair. oils help a lot. good luck!

right after you use conditioner in the shower, while your hair is soaking, use a wide tooth comb. carefully press your hair between a folded towel to dry your hair. I've tried pantene prov restoratives moisturizing conditioner. It's cheaper than keraphixx, and i think it works just as well, if not better.

Hair Tangled Emergency! Help!?

Biolage is the best!I will not use anything else or I have the same problem!

Hair Tangled Emergency! Help!?

Try Suave Bio Basics conditioner and shampoo. Another tip to having less tangly hair after a shower, put conditioner in your hair when you are done with everything, wash it out a little, then using a brush, brush your hair while in the shower under the water. This makes it easier to deal with when you get out of the shower.

Do you use conditioner? If so, then use more of it. If not, then start using conditioner. Also, purchase a shampoo brush (I purchased mine from my Fuller brush man). When you are rinsing out the conditioner under the water, at the same time start brushing your hair with your shampoo brush, starting at the bottom and working your way up. Shampoo alone will leave it all tangley.

Hair Tangled Emergency! Help!?

Put a bunch of conditioner in your hair and then get huge widetooth comb and comb your hair, I promise it will be easier and the more you do it the easier it will get with time.

Is your hair like this before a shower? Anyway, I suggest using Pantene CONDITIONER. Conditioners really help with the detangling thing. Also, if you put your hair-dryer on low, and you have a really big not, hold you dryer a couple inches away from your head and use it.

get all the tangles out before you shower...take a wide tooth comb into the shower with you. After washing, condition your hair then comb through it with the conditioner still in it...rinse with cool water...do not rub the towel over your hair...simply wrap it up

Hair Tangled Emergency! Help!?

how about a detangler that you spray in your hair after you towel dry your hair.

Hair Tangled Emergency! Help!?

Anti snap leave in treatment after you shampoo , condition, then apply. The other answers about combing conditioner thru are ok..just hair is in a weak state when its wet. Best bet is to brush knots out before the shower and dont pile it all up on top of your head when you shampoo...apply shampoo to scalp and massage gently . you are scrubbing ur scalp to get it clean..the ends of hair will get clean with the shampoo as it rinses. That will avoid tangling it more. Anit snap is made by Redken smells great . a bit expensive but..I am a hairdresser and I find it works wonders!!!!! Gl.
