How to avoid tousled messy-looking hair in the morning?

I recently got my hair cut in really short layers. It looks like a boycut. I have no problem with that. However, when I wake up in the morning, my hair looks really tousled. Just combing/brushing it doesn't do a thing to make it look decent. It looks presentable only after I make it wet in the shower and style it again.

What should I do to avoid the messy, tousled look in the morning?

Take a shower every morning and use "Chi" you can find it at fantastic sams

Before bed wrap your head in toilet paper. Round %26amp; round you go. Old boyfriend mom used to do this with her up-do's to keep it nice til she went to the salon again.

I had a short hair cut too and I always had that problem! What you should do is wash your hair before you go to bed and then towel dry it until it's damp. Then, blow dry it straight. Mix a bit of distilled water and a dime sized amount of leave conditioner and apply it to your ends, and then comb it with a fine toothed comb. Switch your pillow case from cotton to a silk or satin pillow case (cotton pillow cases can dry out and frizz your hair, and satin or silk ones keep it smooth and moisturized.). Hope this helps your hair situation (it did mine)!!!
