I have short black hair and its really thick. how should i comb it?

imy hair is like 1/2 inch long and eventually i want to get dreadlocks, but in the meantime how should i do my hair so it dont look messy. when i regulary do my hair, i spile it, but i have to use got 2 b glued or ice glue gell. its the only way it stayes up because its thick. thanks

In da mean time u can get lil twists.U have enough hair for dat.Den when the start to get messy(like a month later) Comb them out and get em re-done.Twist are different 4rm dreads dey dont hang.there like twisted on ur head.but not like cornrows.
