Okay! I just had my boyfriend do a straight perm in my hair last Night, And ever since then like me trying to comb my hair when its wet or you know even run my fingers through it I have been Losing A rapid Amount of hair. I have been told to use a hot oil thing and also a leave in conditioner but They really just dont understand How damaged my hair really is. And I dont want to cut it off because it has took me soo long to grow my hair long and thats the last thing i want to do. And i really dont have the money to do my hair so I dont know what Im going to do. I really most honestly went to school crying this morning on how bad my hair looked! PLease SOOMEBODY HELP!

OH sweetie, DON'T EVER DO THOSE KITS YOURSELF!!!!! They are so very dangerous to your hair, if even the slightest thing isn't done correctly. You should go and see a Cosmetologist asap and see what they say. She may put a very good deep conditioner on your hair and set you under the air blower for 20 mins. Unfortunately, you may need some cut off but if you go and see a professional, she may be able to save some of your length. Good luck.

The chemicals necessary for a perm to "take" are themselves damaging, so combined with whatever damage your hair already had, that can mean serious breakage.

You don't have to trim it all off, but you'll see continued breakage if you don't.

I ve been this situation be4. Dont do anything just tied it up when you went out. Wait for a few week, cut it. You must cut it, if not the hair cant grow. Start to cut a little bit, later a month cut a little bit again. Remember dont do straight perm by yourself, must go to saloon.
