I need help with my hair!?

My hair is fine, shoulder length and straight. I want to know if there is a hair cut/style out there that takes like five minutes but will look good. I also was wondering if there is a good way to put up a high ponytail that doesn't look "bumpy" or "too tight". Someone has suggested back combing my hair before I pull it back but I don't know how well that will work. I would really appreciate it if you all could give me some tips.

Oh I feel your frustration! I have thin straight hair, the texture is normal but it is so flat all the time. My hair was past my shoulders two months ago and I just cut it into a stacked bob and I love it! It makes me look like I have more hair than I really do. If your not willing to go as short as me(mine is to the end of my neck in back with layers then it is longer in the front below my chin) then I would layer the heck out of it. When pulling it in a ponytail take a small section of hair on top of your head and back comb. Do this with a couple of sections then lightly comb the front so it will look smoothed out. It will make your hair look fuller and it is a cute style. Hope this helps.

Oh that's easy, do a floppy ponytail. Make a regular ponytail in the back of your head, then loosen it a lot and put it on one side. That would look so pretty!

if it is fine you may want to get layers to give it some body and texture. if your hair is naturally straight then it will be easy to maintain any style.

also try putting it up when it is wet to get all the bumps out. or you can blow dry it a little to give it some body, then it will look fuller when you put it up. just remember not to pull it too tight.
