hi guys i currently have very short hair (currently number 1 size) but have always wanted spikey hair. but whenever i try growing it my hair from the front starts going towards the right does (i.e bent!) anyone know how i can straight this, also any any general tips for getting spikey hair. apart from combing your hair back. all help welcomed!!

Ah yes. My hair used to have a natural part to the right as well. Here's what you do- wait for your hair to grow out at least an inch. Then by some good gel... LA Looks 10 works really well (it's blue).
Then, when you go to spike your hair, take a glob of gel in your hand and just rub your hair down. Get your hair saturated with it. Then, turn on a hair dryer on hot/high and start blasting your hair while you brush a comb to the left to try to get it straight up. If you get it right, the gel will harden before your hair goes back to the right.
If it's still tough to keep up, then add just a little bit of water. Make sure you dry thoroughly, though.

The best products I have seen people spike their hair with is Spiker. They have a gel that is like glue. It is really good and strong. They also have a spray that is firm. You could ask any stylist, they should know.
