Long, thin hair. How to keep it healthy?

I have long, thin, brown hair. I straighten it quite a lot, but not every day. i use toni and guy heat protection when i starighten itI also like to dye little section black with temporary dye but, again, not all the time.

However, i tend to wash it every day otherwise it does get greasy. I do leave it to get skank if i'm not doing anything though because i know its supposedly good for it. (eww but still)

i have been told to comb the ends of my hair with conditioner to help fix split ends.

so anyway, my questions were what other things can i do to keep my hair healthy so that i can straighten it as and when i please? things like sleeping with stuff on it or whatever would be helpful if anyone knows of anything.

i was gonna ask for any expensive product for christmas because i can't afford it :(

cheeers :]

(sorry for the longness of the question)

They do hair packs in places like ASDA. They are sold near the face packs. These rehydrate your hair and stuff. Other than than, doing what you're doing I guess

You should try the horse shampoo. No joke, why do you think horse have strong hair anyways?

well there is one that you can find in the stores like wal-mart. it's for humans and i believe it comes in a white bottle with a picture of a horse or two on it. i had a friend who used it and every strand of her hair was strong and healthy. she said her secret was that shampoo.

elsewise make sure you leave in your conditioner in your hair for like a minute or two then rinse it out. or you can try damage repair renewal from pantene, it works wonders!

I would do try www.biolustreflorida.com. My girlfriends swears by it and she had damaged and splitends really bad. she said its instant repair. maybe it can help you.
